Look through any family's travel photos, and you'll notice someone missing. Not because they weren't there — because they were the one holding the camera.

It happened to us too. We traveled together, took a hundred photos of each other, and ended up with none of us, together. Just two people, taking turns disappearing behind the lens.

Solo travelers know this problem well — a selfie stick, or a stranger you hope will frame the shot right. Couples know it too — one of you is always behind the camera instead of in it. And families know it best of all — someone always steps out to take the photo, and whoever's holding a stranger's phone rarely gets it right.

The result is the same every time: the most important moments of your trip end up in the hands of someone passing by.

So we started Momentik. Not to take another postcard photo of Korea, but to make sure the people who came together, leave together — in the same frame.
